Past Events NLA Family Bowl Event : On April 4, 2009 at the Norwich Ten Pin Bowling Alley we had 44 bowlers come out and over a dozen cheerleaders. The following are pictures of the event and a movie of it, enjoy! And the award goes to................. 1st Place highest single score in a game was Elliot Gallup with a score of 182 1st Place highest single score for Youth in a game was Alex Johnson with a score of 103 Last but not least the1st prize for lowest score and most gutter ball goes to ...... Fall Pumpkin & Apple Festival: Over 400+ people came out and enjoyed our 2nd Annual Fall Pumpkin & Apple Festival on Saturday October 4th from 11am-3pm. It was a great day to bring the whole family and enjoy games, crafts, food, clowns, bounce house, prizes, pumpkin, spa treatments, raffles, pony rides and much more. Snoopy and Charlie Brown also stopped by for the days activities and took photos with the children. You heard it right it was all free!!! Below are some photos from the event.
Charlie Brown Thanksgiving : We had a great time on November 17th at our second of three Charlie Brown Holiday Events. It was great to see some familiar faces. The children enjoyed meeting Charlie Brown and Snoopy and where able to get their photo taken with them both. There was a lot of toast and popcorn along with turkey bowling and fun fall crafts and much more to enjoy. Congratulations to all our free raffle winners. Be sure to make plans to come back and join us for our next and last event A Charlie Brown Christmas on December 20th, this event will be free also. Below are some pictures of the second event.
The Great Pumpkin Festival Charlie Brown : We had a great time on October 20th at our first of three Charlie Brown Holiday Events. Church Team Work Challenge and Lunch : Pastor Rob shared with the partners and friends of New Life Assembly a team work challenge he expereineced during a reacent pastor training retreat he attended. The challenge was for a group of 5 people to lay on the floor on their backs and support a 5 gal bucket of water with their feet. When the bucket is placed on the groups feet the team then needs to work on how to get their shoes off. The goal of the team is to figure how to get their shoes off and not spill the water. We learned alot about ourselves and working as a team and how it realates to the teachings in the Bible..
Teen Challenge, New Haven : New Life Assembly had the privilege and opportunity to welcome several members of the Teen Challenge, New Haven during Sunday Services on July 1, 2007. We were blessed by their worship songs, testimonies and teachings. Following services a luncheon was held in honor of our guest and also our newest newlyweds in the Church Dean and Holly.
Congratulations to our new New Life Partners: New Life welcomed it's newly committed partners to the church on Sunday June 24, 2007. Congratulations to all!!!
Memorial Day Picnic: New Life held it's Annual Memorial Day Sunday Services once again at the beautiful Mill Pond on Gardener's Lake in Bozrah, CT on May 27th. God blessed us with a beautiful day for service lakeside and fun was had by all during our fellowship picnic afterwards.
The Word is Out Ministries : Leanna Corvo who runs The Word is Out Ministries presented New Life Assembly with and update of the ministries and testimonies from those who have benefited from the Ministry at the June 3rd Church Service. Leanna also presented the Congregation with the opportunity to look at her Christian artwork that is available for sale with proceeds going to the ministry.
