CHILDREN’S MINISTRY
Welcome to New Life Assembly’s Children’s Ministry where we care for children from birth through age 12. We have 3 ministries: Nursery, Tikes & Junior Church; all providing safe, loving God centered environments for the children we are entrusted to care for.
First, our Nursery Ministry cares for children ages 3 months to 3 years so that parents can be filled with the word of God and feel confident knowing that their precious babies are being well taken care of in the Nursery.
Second, Tikes Ministry serves children ages 3 to 6 years old by helping the children learn, as they are encouraged to grow with one another in their faith and understanding of Jesus through Bible stories, memory verses, crafts, games, prayer, and snack.
Lastly, the Junior Church Ministry serves children ages 6 to 12 years old. Junior Church enables children to apply God’s word to their lives through themed lessons, skits, crafts, videos and more to make Church an exciting time in their lives.
All Ministries provide a safe and caring environment for children by hav-ing two (background checked) workers for each Ministry with the chil-dren at all times along with clean classrooms and fun & engaging class-room curriculums.
Our focus for all three Ministries is for children to learn that Church is a safe and friendly place where they can learn about & experience God and His love for each of them. Children are of great importance to God and His Church!

CHURCH BEAUTIFICATION
We endeavor to keep God’s House looking beautiful and hospitable! Our heart is to Serve the people of New Life Assembly through making our wonderful building sparkle and shine.
We want every person to have a five-star experience at NLA. We enjoy what we do to make people feel comfortable and relaxed in a clean, fresh, scented environment. We honor God best when we are Good Stewards over His Gifts.

EVANGELISM MINISTRY
Our Ministry is two-fold. First, to follow in the footsteps of the author and Finisher of our Faith, to seek and save that which is lost. Second, to en-courage, admonish and lead by example for others to follow in truly fulfill-ing the “Great Commission” of Mark 16:15 as Jesus said, “Go Ye into all the world and preach the Gospel”

INTERCESSORY PRAYER
Our goal on Tuesday evenings is to press into the Kingdom seeking breakthrough from the Lord. We come into agreement with one another enforcing the power of God over the enemy.
We also have times of silence as well because it is important to take time to hear from God.
The voices we have been given by God are powerful tools that dictate the course of action here on Earth.
We encourage all to come out and pray with us as we enjoy our time to-gether in God’s presence calling upon the power of the Lord.

JUST FOR WOMEN
It is a time for women to come together for prayer, worship and to study God’s Word. It is my desire that through this time of fellowship, we not only build a relationship with one another, but build a stronger and deeper relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ. We here at New Life Assembly want encourage all women to come and join us. Be Blessed!

LEADERSHIP TRAINING
Here at NLA, we are committed to service in God’s Kingdom. We want to ensure that we educate and mentor ministry leaders for all facets of lead-ership and in His Kingdom.
We also have the discretion to sponsor formal ministers for ministry certi-fications and licenses to those who have a high calling (which must be approved by the Pastor and Elders).
If you have the desire or the calling to join a Ministry or the ability to lead people, please share a specific leadership topic with NLA, feel free to contact us.

MAN UP!
“Manhood” and “Christ-likeness” are synonymous. Men’s Ministry at NLA is centered on one thing; raising men up into the image of Christ because that is where real manhood lies. To do this, we endeavor to minister to the whole man in the following four ways:
Information-Teaching the whole counsel of God from His Word in a way that is relevant and personal to men and their unique needs.
Demonstration-Man Up ministries will not just “talk the talk” but will “walk the walk” through the testimony of the lives of the men in it.
Impartation-At Man Up Ministries, we endeavor to sow good seed into each other so we may “build one another up in our most holy faith” (Jude verse 20)
Participation-No one sits on the bench. God has blessed each man with unique gifts and talents. Man Up Ministries works to bring them out of each man through various outreaches, activities, fellowship, and just plain fun!

USHERING MINISTRY
When you come to visit us on Sunday morning service, you will be greeted by one of our other members of our Ministry Team. Our goal is to make you feel welcomed and love.
If you would like to know who to talk to about a particular issue, such as where your children go for Sunday school, restrooms or other Ministries here at NLA, feel free to ask, we are here to help.

WORSHIP MINISTRY
All thy works shall praise thee O Lord, and thy saints shall bless thee. They shall speak of they glory of thy Kingdom and talk of thy Power; to make known to the sons of men His mighty acts and the Glorious majesty of His Kingdom. Psalm 145:10-12
The purpose of worship is straightforward at NLA. We are called to guide the people into the presence of God and into the act of worship.
We are vessels God uses to bring the congregation to the Holy of Holies. Where their adoration, love, reverence, respect, adulation and veneration of God is expressed.
Although our worship is contemporary in nature, we strive to maintain a balance between traditional and modern.
It is our prayer that worship at NLA serves to invoke God’s presence and then draws all believers and seekers to Go.

YOUTH GROUP
We strive to create a safe, relaxed atmosphere that the teens feel com-fortable to be themselves. At times, we play some fun and crazy (but safe) games in which we sometimes include physical activity or the con-sumption of oddly combined food(s). At other times, we can spend an entire night just talking about issues that matter to them or answering questions that they may have and then praying for areas in their life that they may be struggling in.
In whatever we do, we desire to build life-changing relationships that will draw the teens closer to God. We are also on Facebook under “Newlifeyouth Griswold”.
Friday nights at 7 pm (Ages 12-18 or 7th through 12th grade.
